Day 8 – It’s never too late for a Bat Mitzvah!
June 19th, 2014
Bar Mitzvah for boys at the age of 13 and Bat Mitzvah for girls at the age of 12 is the Jewish rite of passage marking the transition from child to adult and accepting the responsibility of the Mitzvot or commandments. Since Daniela never had her Bat Mitzvah we thought it’s never too late and our day began with a private, intimate yet magical ceremony for her at the Western wall.
After that we set out north driving along cities and valleys, passing the Sea of Galilee and eventually reaching the town of Rosh Pina and the boutique Spa resort Mitzpe Hayamim (observatory of the seas) for some relaxation and gathering our strength for what was in store for us next.
