Day 7 – Living and re-living history in Jerusalem
June 18th, 2014
Jerusalem is a city of many facets. Its history is clearly felt and seen from every street corner and cobble stone. Our first stop was Mount olive with a truly amazing lookout on the holy city of Jerusalem.
From there we ascended and continued through the gorgeous church of Gat-Shemanim to the city of David. There we had a VIP tour in what used to be the original city of Jerusalem 3000 years ago. From there we went on to the wailing wall, the tunnels under the wall , the Jewish quarter and the Christian quarter.
