Day 3 – Tel-Aviv the city that never sleeps
June 14th, 2014
You’d expect Saturday to be a very quiet day in Israel with most shops closed and hardly any public transportation. It may be so in some places, but not so much in Tel Aviv. The name “The City that never sleeps” is befitting and it is not without a good reason that the city is one one the 10 recommended by the “Lonely Planet” guide. We spent our day walking around the Rothschild Boulevard and the magical streets of Neve Tzedek.
We stopped for a drink of wine at Israel’s best boutique hotel (voted as such in 2014) – Hotel Montefiori. We got to see the art galleries, visit Jaffa and its narrow alleyways and the life bustling beaches of Tel Aviv and the trendy port area.
In the evening we got to experience the hospitality of Israel’s national theater “Habima”.
It was a truly inspiring and magical day!
