The land of milk and honey
Israel is often described as “The land of Milk & Honey”. The term is used to describe Israel’s abundance and riches of many things – from minerals through landscapes and weather zones to fruit and vegetable varieties. Israel is smaller than lake Michigan in size (!!) but it is an amazing place packed with various things to see and do. In this small space you can go skiing up in the north on Mount Hermon, you can go rock climbing on the Carmel, scuba diving in the Mediterranean or the red sea and trek the Judea desert.
Along the trail you will find green fields, vegetable patches and orchards, forests, mountains, valleys and streams. For the Culinary enthusiasts, Israel offers world class boutique wineries, beer breweries, cheese making farms and gourmet restaurants.
There is so much more to see and do but the best place to grab your morning (fresh!!) juice is at the local market, just before you head to the beach 🙂
